Just wanted to let you know about a South West family friendly protest day coming up on Saturday 28 October in Bath.

All nature, climate and social justice groups are invited to help shape the event with us.

There will be a number of climate groups joining us in Bath. As ever we will be supported by the Red Rebels and the XR Rhythms bands from across the South West.

It should be a wonderful opportunity to do something about the bad climate news we’ve been hearing about all summer. It will be a fun, relaxing low risk day focused on raising awareness of climate issues.

We’ll share more information about the day as we get nearer the time.

As this government prepares to create 100+ new drilling licences for North Sea oil and gas. It’s time to pick up our local activity planning.

Our next meeting

XR Stroud will be meeting next at the Green Drinks on 9 August at 7:30 to 10:30pm at Stroud Brewery: Main Bar, GL5 2BY.

This relaxed event brings together those with a shared passion for sustainability in all its forms.

We meet monthly to chat about what’s going on in the Net Zero / Sustainability space, “network” and meet others who are interested in the field.

Regular meetings

Our more regular meetings are fortnightly on Wednesdays at the Ale House in Stroud at 7pm. Our next regular meeting will be on 23 August.
